Is my data private?
Yes. Your data is yours. We never sell it, never share it with advertisers, and never expose it to other users.

What do you actually store?
We store the insights we extract — who you talk to, relationship health, patterns over time. We don't permanently store your raw email or message bodies.

Is it encrypted?
Yes. We use end-to-end encryption with keys tied to your device(s). Even we can't read your sensitive content.

Do you read my emails?
Our system processes them to extract things like relationships, sentiment, and action items — then the raw content goes away.

Is my data used to train AI?
No

Can I export or delete everything?
Yes, anytime. One click to export, one click to delete. GDPR-compliant and no runaround.

AskMyu is a relationship intelligence platform — it helps you keep track of the people, patterns, and pressures that shape your professional life.

How is it different from a CRM?
CRMs are for managing leads and customers. AskMyu is for you — your colleagues, mentors, career trajectory, and well-being. It's personal, not transactional.

How is it different from a journaling app?
A journal is a blank page. AskMyu reads between the lines — it notices patterns, flags burnout early, remembers context about people you mention, and brings up relevant history when you need it.

Productivity tools track tasks. AskMyu tracks relationships and well-being — the things that actually shape your career over time.

Who is it for?

Is AskMyu for me?
If you manage a lot of professional relationships and want to be more intentional about them, yes. It's built for individual professionals — managers, salespeople, ICs, founders — anyone whose work runs on people.

Do I need to be a manager?
Not at all. AskMyu works for anyone whose career depends on relationships, which is most of us.

How does it work?

What data does AskMyu use?
Your stuff (connected email, messaging, calendar) plus public context we layer in: LinkedIn profiles, company data, career transition research (ONET, NLSY), and validated IO psychology models.

Do I have to connect my email?
No. You can journal by hand and get value from day one. Connecting email, calendar, and messaging just makes the insights richer.

Which services can I connect?
Gmail, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, CalDAV, IMAP, Slack, and Zulip today. More are on the way.

What AI models do you use?

We use several — each tuned for a different kind of task (reasoning, classification narrative, embeddings). Your data isn't used to train them.

What can I do?

How do I report a bug or give feedback?
In the app: There is a floating Feedback button (megaphone) in the botton right corner. We read everything, and the team is small enough that your feedback actually moves the roadmap.

What are the usage limits?
During beta, everyone has full access to all single-player features. Once we launch pricing tiers, there will be a free tier and several paid tiers.
